Roll Call adds your confirmed sessions to a calendar it creates in your account, called Roll Call. Connect a calendar and it happens on its own.
Only sessions you are attending are written, and only for you.
How it works
When you RSVP Attend to a confirmed session, an event appears on your Roll Call calendar. Change to Miss and it comes off again.
Cancelled and rescheduled sessions are removed. A session that moves has its event moved with it.
Why a separate calendar
Keeping session events on their own calendar means Roll Call never writes to the calendars you already keep. You can hide it, colour it, or share it without touching anything else.
Sessions you have committed to do count as busy time. A campaign will not offer your group a slot you are already playing another game in.
Editing the events
Treat them as read-only. Roll Call keeps the calendar in step with the app. An event you edit or delete by hand is put back or corrected on the next sync.
To change a session, change it in Roll Call.
Deleting the calendar
Delete the Roll Call calendar in your calendar app and Roll Call creates a new one when it next has a session to write. Your events reappear there.
Hide it instead if you would rather not see it.
Missing events
Events are written in the background, so give a sync a minute to catch up. Check three things if one never turns up:
- The session is confirmed, not still a proposal.
- Your RSVP for it is Attend.
- Your calendar connection has no sync error on it.
See Fixing calendar sync problems.
Disconnecting
Disconnecting a calendar stops new events being written. Events already on the Roll Call calendar stay where they are, and you can delete the calendar yourself.
